Underserved Markets = OPPORTUNITY

Statistics are everywhere!!  Did you know that a jumbo jet uses 4,000 gallons of fuel just to take off?  Recycling one glass jar saves enough energy to watch TV for 3 hours.  Or twins occur once in approx. 87 births...the list goes on and on...Interesting and fun to read, but not all that relevant, right?! 

If you are serious about serving your clients and doing the right thing, Allow me to share some relevant statistics that you NEED to know, especially if you are looking for future success in this business. 

Hey did you know that almost 1/3 of people are not buying life insurance or more of it because they don’t like thinking about death?  38% haven’t bought life insurance or more of it because they are not sure how much or what type to buy!!

  • 4 in 10 insured husbands and wives have only group life insurance coverage. 
  • 1 in 3 women believe they do not have enough life insurance.
  • Did you also know that 9 million Americans over age of 65 needed long-term care in 2012.
  • By 2020 12 million Americans over the age of 65 are expected to need long-term care.
  • 81 million Americans will be over 65 in 2050.
  • Also, currently the median annual cost of a nursing-home care facility is almost $84,000!!
  • Average stay in a nursing home is a little over 2.5 years.
