State Annuity Training

Prior to the submission of new business you may also need to complete State Annuity CE training.

You can view your state CE requirements by accessing the following site: http://www.clearcert.com/regulations.asp

You can complete State Annuity training through a vendor of your choice or by visiting WebCE at the following: www.webce.com


American General

American General Product Specific Training can be completed by going to: https://learn.questce.com/naicsuitability/

Carrier training is required for ALL agents, regardless of solicitation state.

Click Register to create your account. If you have already registered with Quest, log-in to your existing account with your SSN and last name (lowercase). If AIG courses are not listed, click on Manage Appointments to verify that AIG Annuities is one of the Carriers within your account settings.

Enter your information into the required fields to create your account. Click Register to proceed. Note: If the NPN & CRD fields are not applicable, you can enter a 0 to proceed.

Complete the 3-step registration process to begin your training. Click Continue to Step 1.

Registration Step 1: Click NAIC Requirement, then “Yes” on the pop up screen that follows.

Then you will have the option to Skip Step 1, bypassing the State Annuity Course selection.

Registration Step 2: Select Independent (Unaffiliated) from the Broker Dealer drop-down list and check the box for AIG Annuities.

Registration Step 3: Check the box for required course.

For the Market Synergy products please select AIG Annuities – Index Annuity Product-Specific Training (I5281LS.4)

Click Start to access the AIG Annuities product-specific training and complete the course.

Once you have finished, click one of the Start Exam buttons and then click OK to confirm an exam question. Then answer a one-question attestation to mark the course Complete.

Only after this step is done, will you receive credit for training.

Please note that contracting will be listed as “not in good order” until training is completed.

American National

American National Product Specific Training can be completed by clicking here.

Carrier training is required for ALL agents, regardless of solicitation state.

Enter the appropriate information in the fields located on the Self-Registration screen. Click “Register”.

Select the state in which you are licensed from the State drop down menu and click “Save”.

On the Producer Status screen, click on Enter Product Code on the left-hand navigation menu.

On the Just-In-Time Product Training screen, enter the product code ANICOSUITPLUS. Agents to be appointed with American National Life Insurance of New York will enter product code: NYANICOSUITABILITY.

Click “Submit”.

Once the product code has been entered, you will be directed back to your Producer Status screen where the course should now appear.

Select “Go To Requirement” to begin the training.

After you navigate through all of the product training course pages, the last page will ask you to attest that you have completed the course.

Click on the “Attest” button. A new window will open asking you to click the “A” box to respond to the attestation. Click the “A” box as the course is not recorded as complete until this step has been done.

The course will then show as being completed back on the Producer Status screen.

Anti-Money Laundering

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Training can be completed by going to: https://aml.limra.com/LimraLogin.aspx

Your Username is the first four letters of you last name plus the last six digits of your social security number.

Your password is your last name. This is only for the first time you login. The website will automatically make you change your password.

Click on all of the required course that have not been completed, including Base and Refresher courses.

After completion of the training under the Company Pages portion if the status reads not started, click on the carrier and self-certify that you have taken the training.

Athene Annuity & Life Company (Athene IA, formerly known as Aviva USA (non-Annexus))

Athene IA Product Specific Training for currently contracted agents, can be completed by going to: http://www.athene.com/sites/annuitytraining.html

Carrier training is required for ALL agents, regardless of solicitation state.

Click on the blue “Access Training” button near the middle of the page.

Enter your username and password. Your username is the first 4 characters of your last name followed by the last 6 digits of your social security number.

Your password for first time login is “changeme”. You will be prompted to change your password once you have successfully logged into the training site.

If you have issues with your login, password, or website, you may contact RegEd Customer Support at (800)334-8322. You must indicate you are calling about the Athene Product Training Site when you call.

Annexus (BAA/BCA/Nationwide® New HeightsSM)

Annexus (BAA/BCA/Nationwide® New HeightsSM) Product Specific Training, for ALL agents, can be completed by going to: https://secure.reged.com/trainingplatform

Carrier training is required for ALL agents, regardless of solicitation state.

Click on the “Register online” link located under the “Producers Get Started” heading located on the right-hand side of the page.

Enter the appropriate information in the fields located on the Self Registration screen. Click “Register”.

Select the state in which you are licensed from the State drop down menu and click “Save”.

On the Producer Status screen, click on “Enter Product Code” on the left-hand navigation menu.

On the Just-In-Time Product Training screen, enter the product code – Agents writing BCA code is BCA_2014 – Agents writing BCA who previously completed 13AVIVA_03 (BCA w/BALIR) code is INSONLY_2014 – Agents writing Nationwide® New HeightsSM code is NEWHEIGHTSS-Agents writing Nationwide® New HeightsSM who previously completed 14NATIONWIDE_01 code is NEWHEIGHTSSR). Click “Submit”.

Once the product code has been entered, you will be directed back to your Producer Status screen where the course should now appear.

Select “Go To Requirement” to begin the training.

After you navigate through all of the product training course pages, the last page will ask you to attest that you have completed the course.

Click on the “Attest button”. To finalize and verify that you have completed the course requirement, affirm your completion by selecting option “A-True”.

The course will then show as being completed back on the Producer Status screen.

Annexus (non-Nationwide® New HeightsSM) (BAA/BCA) Product Specific Training, for currently contracted agents, can be completed by going to: http://www.athene.com/sites/annuitytraining.html

Fidelity & Guaranty

Fidelity & Guaranty Product Specific Training can be completed by going to: https://training.fglife.com/

Downloading the PDF versions will not give you credit for completion. You must complete the information via the link.

Great American

Great American Product Specific Training can be completed by going to: http://www.joingafri.com/CompleteTraining.aspx

Using the drop down select the solicitation state and under the heading “NAIC Product Specific Training through LIMRA”, select the “Complete Training” link.

Click on “Click here to register”

Registration Page – Complete all required sections and create password

Indicate your company appointment by selecting the following: Great American Life Insurance Co.(GALIC)

Click on the Select Firm or Broker/Dealer button to confirm your selection.

Make sure your company appointment appears in the Current Selection box.

Under My Training Status you will select View My Product Training” under the Company Specific Product Training heading.

Please note the Overview Training is a pre-requisite to any product specific training; therefore, you must complete the Overview training before any particular product training will be available for access.

National Western

National Western Product Specific Training can be completed by going to: https://learn.questce.com/naicsuitability

Carrier training is required for ALL agents, regardless of solicitation state.

On the landing page, click on “Register”

After clicking “Register”, you will come to a page to enter your personal information into the required fields. NOTE: If you are not affiliated with a broker dealer, you will NOT have a CRD number, you can simply enter “9999” in this field and continue. If you are not affiliated with a business or company enter n/a. When finished click “Register” in the lower right corner. If you have already registered through Quest CE, click on “Manage Appointments” on the left side menu. You will then automatically be taken to “Step 2”.

When you see the welcome message with your name, your profile has been created. Read the instructions then click “Continue to Step 1” to complete the 3-step process.

On the next page you will need to select the option for “NAIC Requirement Only”. You are not able to receive state insurance CE credit for product specific courses.

Select “Skip Step 1” to access the National Western Life Annuity Product Specific Training. Then proceed to “Step 2”.

In the drop down box, locate and select “Independent (unaffiliated)” as the Broker Dealer you are appointed with. If you ARE associated with a broker dealer, select your Broker Dealer from the drop down box. Select “National Western Life Insurance Company” as your Carrier from the multiple pick box options. Click “Continue” to proceed to Step 3.

Select “National Western Life-Product Specific Training” and click on “Select Courses”.

Your registration process is now complete. You will now be taken directly to your Student Homepage.

On your Student Homepage under “NAIC Suitability Training (Product Specific)” click on “Start” to be taken to course. The estimated completion time is 30 minutes.

Once training is complete, you will need to click on the green button titled “Start Exam”. You will then click “YES” to attest to having completed the training. Only after this step is done, will you receive credit for training.

North American

North American Annuity Product Specific Training can be completed by going to: https://secure.reged.com/TrainingPlatform/

Carrier training is required for ALL agents, regardless of solicitation state.

Enter the appropriate information in the fields located on the Self Registration screen. Click “Register”.

On the Producer Status screen, click on “Enter Product Code” on the left-hand navigation menu. Agents must complete the NAC Compliance and Annuities 101 course along with the additional courses listed below

Once the product code has been entered, you will be directed back to your producer status screen where the course(s) should now appear.

Select “Go To Requirement” to begin the training. All courses except the NAC Compliance course consist of training modules and an exam.

After you navigate through all of the product training course pages, the last page will ask you to attest that you have completed the course.

Click on the “Attest button”. To finalize and verify that you have completed the course requirement, affirm your completion by selecting option “A-True”. You will then move on to the exam portion.

Once exam is passed, the course will show as being completed back on the Producer Status screen.
